Murder?.... I was framed.

I find myself in the city in Khesh. The usual reason. Death brings rebirth in the temple district. There's a group fighting around the rez pad. I stand around to watch. A couple of these combatants I have met before. They are fighting against some members of the Anvil of Crom. I hate those guys. I get invited to the group.

I wasn't really watching, and was mainly waiting around to see what would happen. They were fighting very close to the rez pad, and that isn't fair play in my book. Or in the official rule book either. So I'm sort of hanging around, taking a few screen shots. Waiting to see if the fight comes out in front of the temples. As I said, I have no love for the Anvil of Crom.

Suddenly, one of my team members is receiving murder points. I think nothing of it... there's obviously some sneaky tactics or underhanded action going on. I leave the group and head on my way. I need to learn more about this murder point system.

Shortly thereafter, I find myself respawning, for the usual reason. Only this time, I find myself in the outlaw camp. I'm a criminal. Scratching my head, another character appears. He was from the group I had just been with. He tells me a junior member of the Anvil of Crom had joined the enemy group. He was killed and that gave me my criminal record.

Murderer? Hell no, I was framed -- by the Anvil of Crom. And guilty of not knowing how the rules work - lesson learned the hard way.

Crom. What a mess.

We waited near the gates of the battle keep for the siege to commence. Keeping track of my brothers once the battle began was no small task.

Charge into action.

Taken in Atzel's Approach, South of the fortress entrance. A quest had lead me up there, and the view was quite good.

Reflections

A recent self portrait. I thought this might make a good first image to place on the blog.

I hope to use this space to capture some images of my time with The Black Company (TBC) and life as a Herald of Xotli in the Age of Conan. Some reflections if you will.

Due to the sometimes sensitive nature of mercenary contracts in this highly volatile environment, I may have to be careful about any exact details I am able to reveal. I will have to speak to the Officers on this matter.
